We at Philomena believe that it is very important to give a little of our time to those who need it.
It is not only about being a handicraft clothing store, but also about leaving a trademark. That is why every friday we visit a Home of women afflicted with cancer who come from the interior to Lima to treat their condition.
We carry out with them a knitting workshop called “Alba”, which means “first light before dawn” .
When they knit, they forget about their ailments and that fulfills our spirit and gives us great satisfaction.
Here you can see some of the garments made by our fearless warriors. Some items sold in Philomena, such as our pillows and sweatshirts have been hand woven by the women of Proyecto Alba.
